Chris & Dianne Panetta
Chris & Dianne are the parents of Gina and the founders of Gina's Team. Both are retired now, Chris from 33 years with the local municipalities, Dianne from 26 years in the grocery business. Raised in California, where they were married in 1976, then moved to Arizona in 1977. They had 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. They raised Gina's two younger children from age 4, and 3 until they graduated from high school.
Every year they host the annual Gina's Team Car Show fundraiser. This year will be the 12th car show The Panetta has hosted and it is currently set in November in Apache Junction. 100% of the profits are donated to Gina's Team to help keep the program going. Chris' passion is classic hot rods, his classic car is a 1939 Pontiac coupe, which is his daily driver. Dianne's passions are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Mary Bullis
Mary is a retired United Methodist minister, having worked for over 35 years leading churches and ministries in the Phoenix metro area. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.
Mary has a passion for encouraging and supporting other people and loves helping teach women at the Perryville Prison. She hopes to see major reform in Arizona's criminal justice system. She has a strong desire for all people to be treated fairly, and longs to see a more peaceful world.
She is currently the Dean of the Strength for the Journey retreat in the Prescott area for persons living with HIV. She also teaches Children's Sunday School and leads Adult Bible Studies.
Mary was born in Phoenix and has lived most of her life in Arizona. She enjoys reading, gardening, travel, hiking, and tent camping. She and her husband Paul, who also serves on the Gina's Team Board, have two children and two grandchildren.
Chris Panetta
Chris is the father of Gina and one of the founders of Gina's Team. Chris retired after 33 years with the local municipalities and is currently enjoying his retirement with his wife Dianne of 48 years. He was raised in California and moved to Arizona in 1977.
Chris's passion is classic hot rods. He currently has a classic car himself, a 1939 Pontiac coupe, which he drives daily. Chris has been heavily involved with Gina's team from the start and donates all his time to this cause. Chris also likes to attend a class every session to do a meet and greet which the women inmates appreciate and enjoy.
Billie K. Fidlin
Director of Outreach & Justice (ret '2024) for the Desert Southwest Conference.
She is a graduate of Western Michigan University and attended Claremont School of Theology for religious studies.
Ms. Fidlin currently serves as the President of the Arizona Faith Network in her second term, President & Founder of Whisper n Thunder Inc., and sits on various boards including Gina’s Team, and Justa Center.
Her awards include UM Foundation for Evangelism 2004 Distinguished Evangelist; 2016 Church Women United / United Nations Human Rights Award; 2018 Servant Leader Award AZ Faith Network; 2022 Southern Poverty Law Center Certificate of Recognition; and 2022-23 Class of Who's Who in America.
Her greatest passion is teaching leadership at Perryville Women’s Prison, which she has done for many, many years. In that same light, she is a regular advocate at the state legislature regarding justice issues and incarcerated women and works closely with the Department of Corrections and Director Ryan Thornell. Paul Bullis
Paul is a retired attorney who has spent his career in public service. He began at Legal Aid and
spent the rest of his career working for the State of Arizona and the United States government.
Paul has a B.S. degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona, and a law degree
from Georgetown University Law School.
Paul has long been active in social justice issues, including issues affecting Native American and
indigenous individuals and communities, refugee/immigrant issues, and prison reform. He has
served on the boards of several Arizona non-profit organizations including the Phoenix Indian
Center, Wesley Community Center and Westside Mental Health Services.
Ana Counts
Ana is currently working full-time as a customer service/sales representative.
A proud board member of Gina’s Team of 2+ years and current administrator for Mariah’s Page Wings of Hope of 9 years (Resource & information on drug addiction and suicide), and former board member of Team Hope (Homeless Outreach) of 2 years.
Ana is passionate about volunteering her time to organizations that help people struggling with addiction and homelessness. She is focusing her time currently on Gina’s Team.
Mrs. Counts is passionate about being of service to her community. She is a hard-working volunteer willing to discover and accept new ideas in collaboration with others, directing her skills to meet the objectives and contribute to the organization she is under.
Ana’s proudest accomplishment was organizing and fundraising to build a small library in memory of Mariah at a recovery facility, Crossroad for Women in Phoenix, AZ which has since relocated its facility to Mesa, AZ.
Jill Krebs
Jill Cristina-Krebs is a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who specializes in the field of Special Education in the public schools in Phoenix Arizona. She also maintains credentials as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Jill grew up in Northeast Ohio and is an Alumni of Kent State University. Jill later moved to Florida where she also graduated from Florida State University.
As a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church (UMC), Jill has a heart for social justice issues and volunteers her time in ministry as a Certified Lay Speaker and she is the West District Director of Lay Servant Ministries for the Desert Southwest Conference of the UMC. Jill supports Gina’s Team as the Communications Coordinator providing written correspondence to women at the Perryville Women's Prison, who participate in Gina’s Team Leadership classes.
Jill and her husband Dave raised a blended family of three children. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing games, seeking out new vegetarian restaurants or food trucks, visiting national parks, and spending time in Ohio at Lake Erie in the summers.
Nancy Nonini
Nancy Nonini, worked as both an Occupational Therapist and an accountant, which prepared her for her
current volunteer work as a SHIP counselor for Medicare. She graduated with a BA in Economics from
Ursinus College in PA and received her OT Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania.
Nancy has a passion for social justice issues. She leads the Criminal Justice Reform/Prison Ministry Team
at her UCC church, which includes coordinating educational experiences such as presentations, Re-Entry
Simulations and prison art shows. On the prison ministry side, she organizes a Perryville Pen Pal and
card ministry program, plus collections for A Place For Hannah, the Arouet Foundation and Camp
Genesis. Other social justice activities have concerned immigration and the homeless.
She enjoys family and travel and delights in her granddaughter, who loves to dance to Oldies with her.
